2nd Conference: "En Teoría hay mujeres (en teoría)"
13, 14 and 15 April
The 2nd Conferece "En toería hay mujeres (en teoría)" is the contribution of the Chair of Legal Culture to give continuity to the first edition that took place at University Pompeu Fabra on September 26 and 27, 2018, reaching a high academic level and a great impact nationally and internationally. The initiative, the result of the collaboration between researchers of philosophy of law in the University Pompeu Fabra and in the University of Girona, is an essential way to reverse the underrepresentation of women in the field of philosophy of law and promotes the formation of networks of researchers and professors who reinforce the visibility of their work.
On this occasion, unfortunately due to the Coronavirus, this second meeting will be held on 13, 14 and 15 but on line. We are confident that still will be a great success and the opportunity to bring together a large number of students, professors and professionals interested in analyzing different theorical and applied aspects of Philofophy and Theory of Law.
The objectives of this second meeting are the following:
- Promote the visibility of women who investigate and teach law theory and value their work.
- Establish networks of contacts between women who are dedicated to the theory of law.
- Position the UdG as a university of reference not only concerning the theory of law, but also to gender issues.
